Are you wanting to take part in out annual Wilderness and Expedition Medicine Symposium? Are you a SAR team member or team leader? Or are you prepping for some serious hikes or back packing? Then this is the perfect starting location! Our Expedition & Rescue Fitness Prep Plan provides you with the foundational building blocks to begin your physical fitness journey. If you are already an avid outdoor enthusiast then this course may also offer some new ideas to increase your functional fitness in the field. This is a 24 week training plan to help prepare you for you next adventure or to help you maintain your fitness as a wilderness responder.
Your Instructor
Jason Tartalone is the founding member and owner of Sergeant Rescue Training & Consulting. He is a 12 year veteran of the U.S. Army and has spent a considerable time in Afghanistan serving as a senior medic for a scout and infantry company where he earned his Combat Medical Badge. He has also spent a considerable time working in austere environments with limited resources and support and has been involved in wilderness search and rescue for the past 18 years.
Jason is an accomplished wilderness rescue instructor and is a nationally registered Paramedic and has been active in EMS for 14 years as an EMS practitioner and educator.
